1. Who we are
This website and online shop, trading as Maureen Cork, is operated by:

Throughout these Terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to the trader identified above. "You" refers to the customer using this website.
2. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods through this website. By placing an order you accept these Terms. Please read them before you order. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order.
3. Products, prices and availability
All prices are shown in euro (€) and include applicable taxes. Delivery is free within Ireland, so no additional delivery charge is added at checkout.
We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately. Colours may nevertheless appear slightly different depending on your screen. Small variations between individual items are normal for garments and are not considered defects.
Product availability is limited. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund you in full.
Should an obvious pricing error occur, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and refund you in full, rather than fulfil it at the incorrect price.
4. Orders and formation of contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract between us is formed when we send you an order confirmation by email. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us before ordering again.
Please check your details, sizes and delivery address carefully before confirming. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be altered.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. All payments are processed through a secure, encrypted connection by our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
6. Delivery
Delivery times, carriers and the origin of our products are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Orders are usually processed within a few business days and delivered on average within 8 to 12 business days after dispatch.
Risk in the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated.
7. Right of withdrawal and returns
As a consumer in the European Union you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. We additionally offer a 30-day return window.
For change-of-mind returns, the direct cost of returning the goods is borne by you. Approved returns are sent to our central warehouse in Asia; the address is provided by our customer care team once your return is approved. The full conditions and procedure are set out in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Legal guarantee of conformity
Goods must be as described and fit for purpose. Under EU consumer law you are entitled to a legal guarantee of conformity for a period of two years from delivery. If an item is faulty, damaged or not as ordered, contact us at support@maureencork.com with photographs and your order number. In that case the return is at our cost, and you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund in accordance with the law.
This legal guarantee applies in addition to, and is not limited by, our commercial return policy.
9. Your account and conduct
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account. You agree not to use this website for any unlawful purpose, not to interfere with its operation, and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.
10. Intellectual property
The content of this website — including texts, photographs, graphics, the Maureen Cork name and logo, and the arrangement of the site — is protected and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.
11. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory consumer rights.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, strikes, customs delays or carrier disruption. Where such an event occurs, we will inform you and, if the delay is substantial, offer you the choice of waiting or cancelling for a full refund.
12. Personal data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, the trader identified in section 1 is the data controller.
13. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@maureencork.com. We aim to reply within two business days and to resolve complaints quickly.
As a trader established in Portugal, we also make the electronic complaints book available to you at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers may refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution body, or to the consumer protection authority in their country of residence.
14. Applicable law
These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law provisions that apply in your country of residence.
